Your Ultimate Guide to practicing mindfulness: Everything You Need to Know

Hi everyone!
In this post I will go over the resources that I used to start practicing mindfulness and to include it in my every day life! As someone who started knowing absolutely nothing about mindfulness, the resources that I am providing are extremely suitable for beginners and can also be used all throughout your mindful journey. It is important to understand that there is no right or wrong in practicing mindfulness; it is a process that takes time and patience to learn how to incorporate it in your daily life and also requires that you stay consistent in your practices to see the positive results.
Understanding what Mindfulness is.
In this five minute video by Headspace, you will receive information on how to start your mindfulness journey and will also hear some of the basics surrounding meditation and mindfulness. Throughout the video, common questions of mindfulness practicing will also be addressed! This video was a great way for me to get my questions or concerns about mindfulness answered and to start learning about what mindfulness actually is.
Meditation courses and videos
The Fragrant Heart: Heart Centred Meditation website was a great resource that gave me the chance to explore wether I had any interest in starting my journey in mindfulness practices and meditation. This website includes free audio meditations that give you the chance to try different courses or meditations. Without the pressure or stress of having to pay a subscription for Fragrant Heart, you are able to get a full experience of what meditation is and how it impacts your mindful practices.
Other mindful resources
In this section I am including some links and videos that lead to websites that gave me a strong background on what mindful practices are and how to start integrating those practices in all aspects of your life. The two videos included below give great examples and explanations as to what mindfulness is and how to start your journey! The two links that are included also are helpful and are great written sources that correlate with the videos as well.
